This one day course is designed for anyone who wants to learn the popular website building platform WordPress. Whether you want to be a web developer or build your own website this is the ideal course for you.
WordPress is a free, open source software that allows developers to build websites from the very simple to the very complex. WordPress is probably the most widely used website building platform worldwide.

‘Build your WordPress Website in a Day’. This 6 hour training event will enable you to learn the skills needed to build your own WordPress website.
You will be provided with your own WordPress installation together with a modern design theme. Over the 6 hours you will learn how to build web pages including headings, text, images and logo. You will learn how to craft the colour palette and styling of the website as well as an introduction to plugins, widgets and other WordPress features.
By the end of the event you will have a complete three page website.
You will be able to continue to work on your website for two weeks at the end of which you may decide to 1. Discard the site 2. Receive the website files or 3. Have the site hosted with us which is chargeable.
The three sessions will all begin at 5pm UK time. Each session is 2 hours.
The date for the first session is Tuesday 30th January 2024. The sessions will take place online using MS Teams. The cost of this event is £99 and is bookable through Eventbrite here
